In this role, I bridge the gap between finance workflows and engineering solutions. I partner with FP&A and Financial Operations teams to dismantle legacy, manual spreadsheet processes and replace them with robust, automated data products. A major highlight has been architecting the onboarding of our core Salesforce CRM and Deal schema, building a foundation that securely scales over 2 million rows of critical pipeline data every single day.

Here, my focus was on enterprise-wide transformation and data governance at scale. I acted as a central advisor across eight business divisions to operationalise Macquarie's new Data Management Standard using Collibra. By translating complex regulatory obligations into clean semantic data models, I helped design the blueprints that allowed the development teams to launch initial releases smoothly.

This role was all about ensuring trust and reliability in large-scale financial datasets. I built and deployed end-to-end data quality rules using tools like Dataiku and Informatica Developer, while creating dynamic Qlik Sense and Power BI dashboards to visualise the data quality rules I built. It was a great blend of deep SQL testing, process orchestration, and building data-driven tools that executive management could actually rely on.

Graduated with a distinction and a double degree in finance and business information systems management. I enjoyed challenging myself in case competitions, notably as semi-finalists for Microsoft, Google and Oliver Wyman, and partaking in campus life through societies and during O'Week volunteering.
